Professional Counselling Service

From time to time, we can all struggle with everyday life and, most of the time, we are able to get through this without much help; however, sometimes our problems feel like they are too much or are too confusing to deal with - this is where counselling can help.

The first thing to remember is that it is perfectly normal to feel overwhelmed sometimes. If you think this might describe how you are feeling, then counselling could be helpful for you.

Counselling creates a safe environment for you to explore your thoughts, emotions and reactions and supports you to make the changes needed to achieve your goals.

People come to counselling for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to:

  • Low mood and depression

  • Anxiety

  • Panic attacks

  • Self-harm

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Self-defeating behaviours (bad habits)

  • Self-esteem / confidence issues

  • Anger

  • Bereavement and loss

  • PTSD and CPTSD
